My stay at this Airbnb got off to a difficult start. After traveling for 14 hours with my kids, the lock code didn't work and the Wi-Fi was down, so I had no way to contact the host. Thankfully, the cleaning person was nearby and let us in, I then found the lock's battery needed to be replaced so I let the cleaning lady know. Which I think should have been addressed before I came. Once inside, we noticed a strong, unpleasant smell. The apartment also wasn't very clean; we found large clumps of hair on the bathroom floor and in the bedroom closet. The lack of internet meant we couldn't just relax, so we had to go back out to find something to do, which was the opposite of what we needed after such a long day. While the beds were comfortable, the overall experience was incredibly stressful.
