I don’t want to give this unit 3 stars, but I felt like I must due to cleanliness and safety issues. The owners gave check- in instructions, but it was unclear how to activate the digital lock on the handle. You had to click the “Yale” button. I messaged them, and they quickly messaged and called me. Once inside the entry way, I noticed that the right-most door to a cleaning closet had a padlock on it that was left unlocked. I did easily get into the unit with the key from a wall-mount key lock box. I had to deduct 2 stars, because 4 of the windows in the unit were shut closed but unlocked. My other concern was the cleanliness. The bathtub and inner shower curtain were visibility unclean with hair and soap/shampoo leftover. There was gum stuck to a lamp, and some of the silverware weren’t clean as well as the floors. The unit is very cute, but note the W&D are in the basement. Both entrance doors had deadbolts. There’s an apartment complex behind the house, but I had no issues.

I enjoyed staying at Brooke's place. I recommend it for anyone looking for a nice place to stay
